Dr. Dagny Zhu, MD

Dr. Dagny Zhu is a world-renowned, Harvard-trained specialist in cornea, cataract, and laser refractive surgery. As a key opinion leader in advanced laser vision correction and cataract surgery, she serves as a medical advisor to multiple ophthalmic companies and has been featured in over 300 lectures, presentations, publications, and press features, including Forbes, the Today Show, InStyle, Huffington Post, and CNN.

She then went on to graduate from Harvard Medical School and now owns her own eye clinic in Rowland Heights, where she became one of the youngest practice owners in the history of NVISION Eye Centers. Despite her international success as a leader in the male-dominated field of refractive surgery, Dr. Zhu honors her humble beginnings by continuing to give back to her community through volunteering, lecturing, and mentorship. Her volunteer work includes a medical mission with Operation Burns in Mumbai, India, where she worked alongside plastic surgeons to treat burn victims with debilitating skin and eyelid contractures, and also as a volunteer attending at USC and the LA County Medical Center, in which serves a predominantly Latino community.

She also serves as a local admissions interviewer for Harvard College and is

a mentor for premedical and medical students on her social media platform where she reaches 100,000+ followers.

Dr. Zhu is proud to serve her local community of Rowland Heights where she grew up and hopes to continue inspiring other young women in the healthcare field.
